Last year, I had the idea of shooting a video with my old bandmates from “Imagine” after a 15-year hiatus.
We agreed on “Don’t Let Me Down” as part of a farewell rooftop concert modeled after the Beatles.
Everyone was enthusiastic, but it eventually became clear that no one really had the time or inclination, and I was the only one who had done his homework.
So that my efforts with the electric piano and bass weren’t wasted, I simply took on the two guitar parts as well, and here is the result as a one-man band. (I downloaded the drums and vocals from the internet).
The piano solo at the end was my biggest challenge. After my camera automatically shut off after half an hour, I only managed to make an audio recording, which can be heard on the video but unfortunately cannot be seen.

This was extremely well done Dieter. You did a fine job playing all the instruments and putting it all together. I liked it very much.

Very well done Dieter👌.
You have a very fine ability to do multi instrumental recordings. I find two guitar recordings tricky enough 🤔.
Great job, Dieter. Too bad your old bandmates didn’t follow through, but you made up for it.
