        Hi Folks
I went with a two chord song from the 1950’s. “ Jambalaya” was written by Hank Williams who heard some Cajun’s in Louisiana talking about food. This song has been recorded by over five hundred artists through the years. I’m sure you’ve all heard it. It’s a fun song to play and sing. “Pick guitar fill fruit jar and be gay’o” 😀

Nice James! The only thing better than your vocals is singing in harmony! Beautiful rendition!

Great vocal harmonies. Love how the guitar solo echoes the melody but also fills in the gaps. Fantastic piece! 👏

Wow James 1950’s are you that old?
Yep that is a big around the world standard and your take on it is nothing more than awesome.
              Well done bro.

Oh that was lovely I was smiling all the way through. I recognise the tune but didn’t know what it was called or about. Love your vocal harmonies and lead was very cool!

Very cool, James! I literally have not heard that song since I was a kid in the 50s.

Yes, James, perfect choice for this challenge.
There is a horrible German version of that song, that I heard in my youth (I cannot remember the title or lyrics). Around that time it was a terrible practice in Germany to take US-songs and make a very bad German “Schlager” cover out of it.
Needless to say, your version is everything but bad. I enjoyed it very much. Singing in harmony is something I wish I could do too. For that matter being able to sing at all would be fine 🙄😏
Very well done! Thanks for sharing! 👍🏽
