My first submission. Recorded in low light at low volume, by necessity. Hopefully the idea of it still comes across.

Hey Paul, welcome to the challenges! At first I thought you were holding a banjo there ready to play! It sounds to me that you had some nice ideas to go along with the track and you knew how to execute them. I think it sounded very bluesy and creative. I think – because the sound was very suboptimal and heavily clipped. Nevertheless, congrats on your first post!

Nice work Paul. I like the way you kept your right hand moving most of the way through…good way to keep time. Also like the string muting to give some chop. Nice work and welcome. Pap.

Welcome to the challenges. Well that was a bit dark and moody as well as dark. Novel approach to the track which is welcome on the ears after listening to over 60 renditions. Well done.

Nicely done Paul, I like that little bluesey motif you sued here & there … very interesting approach:-) See you next time in a new light!!!

Welcome to the Challenges Paul. Well done for including the dampening effect, really added a different ‘texture’ to it. All the best!

Sounds OK, the low volume certainly makes you concentrate hard but you certainly were all there nice one

Paul, That’s a really interesting and original interpretation of the back tracking. You are putting the dominant 7 and making it sound so bluesy. Never would thought of that. Very nice! And welcome. Post more! Hide
