Hello Friends,
My Daughter (on the violin), my son (in the background with a guitar) and I played this during the holidays and just happened to put a smart phone on the music stand and pushed voice record. Turns out it fit the bill for this months challenge. Apologies for the poor video quality as the guitar lick video was done on an older laptop.
It’s been 8 months since my last submission. I’m still fighting tendinitis, so I’m selective where I put my guitar efforts.
Cheers,
Sam -

Hi Sam:
Sorry to hear you’re battling tendonitis. But very glad to hear you and your family jam to PPL’s Amy (a Cincinnati band). You guys sound great. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Tom

Sorry to hear about the prolonged hiatus, you need to get back to that fine guitar pickin’.

Wow – Sam, you are so lucky! I loved the sound of it, and I think you owe it to the world to do a really good recording of that and post it again sometime. And don’t forget, tendons are made of chondroitin, so scarf up some glucosamine chondroitin every day and you’ll be good after a couple of months. Or if you don’t like taking pills, just eat some gristle every day.

It was so fine to hear your family concert and you playing the guitar, Sam. That sounds so good and heartwarming. I wish you a fast recovery, so you can play your guitar without limitations.

Nothing beats playing along with other people and when those others are family or friends then you are doubly blessed. Great playing. Take Steve’s advice and get a good recording of it and then treat us all to the full edition.

That was quite a surprise. Sounded fantastic – I’m with the rest – get yourself fit and re-record, we’d love to hear a full version, plus more of the same genre. Wonderful submission.

Sam that was mighty fine. Beautiful and original sounding version. You are all very talented. Your riffing along with the violin are nicely complimentary. GREAT TONE!!

We’ve missed you Sam! Fantastic to hear you playing again and a family affair at that. Very enjoyable rendition and some slick guitar work. Good luck with the tendinitis, hope you can manage it and play more guitar rather than less. All the best! 🥸🎸🥸

Played absolutely great. Unfortunately a bit short; would have liked to continue listening.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
