Hello AMers! TGIF. My Call & Response I “borrowed” from one of the Founding Fathers of The Blues – Robert Johnson’s Sweet Home Chicago done in the style of some guy named Eric. I laid down a drum track from GB. The rest is some goofy dude from da ‘burgh doing Bass (upper left), rhythm (upper right), vocals and fills/responses/solos. So the vocals are my “Call” and lower left box lead work are my “Responses”. Thanks for watching as I will watch every single one of Yinz!

The four Bobs set up a great show! Very nice solo and overall performance!
This Robert Johnson’s song (or may be a traditional blues with many performers?) brings me back at the times I was 13 and I felt in love for the blues thanks to the great Blues Brothers Movie (John Belushi at the beginning of the song says “Dedicated to The Magic Sam”, referred to Samuel Gene Maghett, who made one of the countless versions of the song)!Guido

Hey Bobby that was like watching a video of the Osmonds towards the end of their recording life! Where is Marie by the way? This is one of my favourite tracks from Eric’s Robert Jonhson sessions album. You never fail to surprise and delight with your performances Bob. Keep on truckin’ brutha’. That was crackerjack Bob! You met all my expectations for this great track 🙂. Sweet lead lines with that “rolled back” tone on the Tele (how did you get that?). And the vocals sounded kinda of harmonised did you have an effect there or double track it? That must have taken some hard yakka (Aussie term 🙃) to put together but it worked really well.
P.S. I had to watch again on a laptop screen to read the whiteboards 🤣 -

I loved everything about it excellent playing and hugely entertaining it’s hard to pick a favourite but Yankee Doodle Dandy just pips it for me I think it was the hat and sleeveless shirt that won it for him haha.
Good to see you’re getting better with the multi tracking also.

Thank you Gentlemen! Had a blast making it. To answer some of the goods: Yes, I sang it twice and played one track at say 70% and the other at 30%. The tone? Neck position, all four pick ups, full tone dial and 50% volume dial. That is how I ‘ATTEMPT” to get my Eric Clapton “woman” tone. Juxi, I started playing gitfiddle in 2005, so my getting chics because I play gitfiddle are far behind me! I’m just blessed to have Lilia in my life and she digs my gitfiddle playing. Yes Garry, 3 cubed is 27, 2 to the 4th is 8 and I don’t wanna be late! LOL. 4 x 0 is still zero:). Thank you Liam for teaching me how to do multiple screens. Rock On everyone and peace! Bobby Ut

Whoa, Yinzer Blues King, Bob! This is an absolute blast, my friend – I can’t even – WHO are you??? I think this is your best so far, the vocals were FANTASTIC and so were the rest of the band members, each one of them had his own character, haha! Your gitfiddle (as you call it) skills are monstrous, you remind me of my music buddy, Ray, who can just play ANYTHING like he was born with it. What is it about the Yinzers being so damn gifted, huh?

Favourite vocal performance of yours thus far. Applause for an encore. Watched all 4 of you and you all did well and worked together nicely. The band is a keeper. Top notch playing and collating this into a video. It takes time and effort, so glad you had a blast doing it because it was fun and inspiring to watch.

Thanks Fergal! Well, they all get paid in IPA beers! The bass player a six pack because of the cool hat, the rhythm dude got a six pack plus a 32 oz growler for he wore a nice collared shirt. The lead guitarist got sacked zero for not dressing up and the singer of course got a bunch of bras and undies thrown at him from the crowd! That “crowd” of course being my Sweetheart Lilia!!
