Apogee mic (new 24-bit/96 kHz iOS version)

I’m expecting to get one of these delivered before the end of the day:

I have no clue what to expect of a microphone like this with a built in preamp and A/D converter (internal sound card).

I’ll do some demos as soon as I have some time!

I think lesson 187 would fit this perfectly because capturing that percussive click/slap with the internal pickups my guitar has is almost impossible.

Recorded this today at my kitchen table with my iPad and the Apogee mic!

I can give you some completely dry recordings as well if you want. I’m using compression, EQ and some reverb on that recording.
