I’m no saint, so I had some fun with this one.
First I recorded a track with the chords, then a second one with the basic melody, then a third bass line.
Finally, I played the whole thing back while I shot a video of the country-style harmony/lead track I put together. I couldn’t decide which guitar to use though.I also edited it short in considering for my fellow members who — after reviewing the same tune time after time — will probably go to bed with a giant ear worm.

Paul, that’s sounding soooo wonderful. I love your country style version with these sweeeet harmonies🙏🎸. The blend of the main melody, rhythm and solo was fantastic. Very tasty solo! Great tones from your guitars. A pleasure to my ears and very inspiring.
Bravo, bravo!!!!!

Paul
This is so nicely arranged and the dual guitars are melodic and harmonizing. As Denise said, THE BLEND is spectacular. Could you play this the same way twice? So nice on the ears. This is wonderful music.John

That is so tasty – your harmonies are almost bewitching. I’m not surprised you kept swapping guitars – they all sounded wonderful. I think this is the best of your submissions, and it would be cool if you were to treat some future challenges in the same style..

Wow, beautiful arrangement and rendition, Paul! With a country and gospel vibe at the same time, with all the guitars and instruments that harmonized and blended rhythmically in a brilliantly and soulful way! Great job!

I want to say it this way, Paul, when craftsmanship and inspiration came together spiced up with some wonderful musical sense, it can sound like your beautiful Saints piece. In my opinion this is music for heart and soul, you hear it and get a really happy feeling. Thanks for that, Paul.
Take the chance to meet your AM friends on Zoom.
The next Meetup will take place in May/JuneThere will be a detailed announcement here in the forum a few weeks before..
I look forward to meet you.

Paul, I like what you did with this one. Your heard those country lics before you played them. Your harmonized them well too. I also like that you played along with the BT. Really nicely done. Pap.

Nice arrangement, the guitar tracks complement each other well. I prefer the strat take, which stands out more in the mix. Nice job

Great job Paul. Loved the descending lead lines in the first part. And then, @ 1:35, you took on a different lead style/tone. Digging it!

Cracking arrangement Paul. Those harmonies sounding gorgeous. Keep an eye on any Eagles YouTube channels as I reckon they might be nicking a bit of this!
And all those costume changes too and you never missed a note! -

Man you did indeed have fun with it , sounds so rich in harmonies and very melodic
With a true country flavour.
Nice to hear the three guitars in contrast , for me the Tennessean gets the nod .Martin

Wonderful Paul. I especially love the tone of you recording. Sometimes I find the strong treble sound on many recordings to be a bit too much. This is just right for me.

That was a real treat, Paul! Love how you made it a laid-back country style instrumental, those sweet harmonized 6ths, very nice arrangement. The variety of the guitars was fun to see, I think the strat cut through the mix the best. Totally enjoyed it 🙂

If I wasn't making mistakes I wouldn't be the kind of player I want to be. Perfection is dangerous.
