Happy Canada Day!
This is my June 2022 challenge I used Micro lesson 061 and put my own flavour to this lesson really enjoy the drop D tuning. Gives the guitar such a rich sound. It’s been a emotional ride this past month, my dearest companion Sammie past away earlier this month. I miss her so much. This tune seems to reflect how she ran happily through the dandelions at our park. She’s now an angel and I know she’s listening. She is pictured below.
Enjoy🇨🇦🎸😊

Awesome rendition Catherine! Loved how you added some embellishment and personal groove to the composition, in a very expressive way! Top notch finger picking and very nice warm tone form your guitar! Really enjoyable and your angel, who crossed the rainbow bridge, is now somewhere, smiling like in that picture and listening to this beautiful piece.

Lovely rendition Catherine, which I thought was reminiscent of Nick Drake. You make your style look effortless – the sign of a great player. Commiserations about Sammie – I know that feeling.

Love what you did with this Drop D tuning here, Catherine! Your control of the strings is amazing, only great sounding notes come out from under your fingers! What a beautiful composition, it would make a lovely video with the pictures of Sammie running through the dandelions! ❤️🩹🐾 So sorry for your loss… 😥
