  Hello All –
  Alberto’s submission about a week ago inspired me to work on this great tune. Also, a certain Canadian obstetrician who might be an AM member guilted me into it. I could spend all year on this and still not nail it like Brian does, so when I had a fairly clean take, I ran with it. And I have a confession – the audio and video were recorded at different times because I just plain forgot to press record on the old iPhone when I was recording the audio. Also — if any of you are using Cyberlink Power Director to edit video — how the heck do you get titles to appear on the video?

  That was great Gary and for audio and video to be done at different times it all seems to match up well..( sorry cant help with the title thing).

  I guess that makes you the Milli Vanilli of Active Melody. I must confess, I’ve done it myself. Those fingers are flying faster than ever. Well done, my friend. A little guilt goes a long way. I hope the labour pains were not too uncomfortable.

  Hell yes! That was smokin. Just got back from Vegas and got this surprise for my Monday morning. Really well played. Fantastic tone, perfect for this style (that Ibanez sounds amazing). Aren’t you glad you took it on? Some of those lick are really hard to pull off-you made it look easy.

  Absolutely, Albert. This was one of Brian’s most fun lessons. I found that lick at about 0:45 to be particularly awkward. I had trouble even playing it at half speed at first.

  Fantastic, Gary. Well-played and right in the groove. Great pickin’! That new guitar is still sounding excellent. Seeing you and Alberto play this really inspires me. I may try this soon, but I’m afraid my hands of stone may fail me.
