MicroLesson: 032 – Learn 3 Easy Double Stop Licks – 3 Essential Double Stops

Description

In this MicroLesson (ML032) you’ll learn 3 easy double stop licks. These are basic double stops that I use all the time when improvising and they’re very easy to connect to a basic barre chord shape.

You always offer up the tastiest licks… love it! I have been playing for many, many years and just get stuck in a rut. Your videos are extremely clear and have greatly improved my playing. At 51 years old I can’t believe I’m getting the itch to find a band to jam with.

I really like these micro-lessons. Bits are good when you don’t have the time to work out a longer lesson.

    Thanks Brian

    Brian,

Double stop #2 , as I remember, is A Bill Broonzy lick from Joe Turner (maybe Diggin’ My Potatoes)—“They tell me Joe turner has been here and gone—” then this lick.

Thanks for your efforts to show us these licks. Sebastian
