I can’t quite tell if Brian is playing all down strokes but it looks like it from the angle of the plectrum. I can get a good Bo Didderley rhythm going using all down strokes, but it requires me to hesitate in the middle whereas Brian seems to keep up a constant movement of his hand.
Hey Rodney, I will be creating some extended versions of these shortly with tab (in the next couple of weeks) for premium members. That said, I always keep my hand in motion, even if I’m playing only down strokes… the down, up motion is always there.
Very glad to hear that you will be doing that Brian. The micro lessons have been a goldmine IMHO.
