This is a slightly revised version of the song I posted last month. As requested by a few members here, I did a mix break down in video form..
Be warned, I don’t do tutorials and the like very well, so, there were issues.. lol.. I got a chuckle after reviewing it and notice a couple of times I would start a sentence and not finish it.. I can now fully understand what someone goes through creating these kinds of videos..
Also, I tried to keep it as brief as possible, but, it still clocked in at about an hour long. I tried to spend about 10 minutes on each section of the song, but, that didn’t quite work out..
In any case, I hope this will take a little bit of the mystery out the production process.

Thanks..
@Lights naw, not going to happen.. home studio stuff fun enough..I have to say, I really could have done a better job with the video presentation.
In the video, I mention that I was able to get feed back and I still don’t understand why. You need a “loop” for that to happen. The loop would be the audio coming from the amp speaker and being picked up by the guitar and the signal going back. But, I don’t record “live” like that. It is direct to the computer, not using the amp speaker.. So, my initial explanation is incorrect. It is possible that I had a compressor pedal on in the amp settings which would have sustained the sound, but, I don’t actually remember the settings I used at the time.

That was interesting, not that I’ll ever use it. But like people are saying, why don’t you take it to the next level? I’ll bet there are a lot of people looking for production skills like that.
