Well,I m remembering the old days after reading the forgotten brands post…so here goes

Remeber when Ernie Balls strings came with an extra 1st or E string?
Remeber when you bought guitar picks one at a time?
When I started playing ALL amps were tube amps!
In the old days skinny bottoms and heavy tops had nothing to do with guitar strings.
When you could buy a ’57 Strat for a hunfred bucks? with the funky orangr lined case.
        Tablatuure wasn’t even a word?
You didn’t mind lugging your Fender Super around?
        Shure gold plated nics?
and keeping dimes in your penny loafers to call for a ride after you played at the school dance?

Well said. Always good to keep a healthy perspective. Love to have that ’57 strat now, eh?

Would like to have back my 60’s Super Reverb and be able to play 3 games of pinball for 25 cents or was it 3 games for a dime.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I remember as a kid music was 8-track and the local supermarket paid you to recycle glass pop bottles before bieng green was cool.
