It’s been a while away for me, but I’ve been doing a few lessons here. I didn’t want to comment on anyone else’s playing until I posted something myself. I found this lesson somewhat easier than the slower ones (although this is half speed). I’ll be moving myself into the bedroom where I keep the music background more. Looking forward to more lessons, and some covers too down the road. I did this with a Guild OM-320, an inexpensive guitar that I practice with, but I just bought an Eastman guitar which is real nice. Good to be back!

Nice acoustic playing Chuck. You’re nailing those notes and keeping the piece moving forward really well. You definitely had my foot tappin’. All the best! 😎🎸😎

Thanks Garry, I’ve really enjoyed getting back to playing and have missed being a part of this group that shares their efforts. Brian’s lessons are the best as far as I’m concerned!

Hey Chuck! That sounded really good. All those slides were “spot on”!! Thanks for sharing.

Excellent work Chuck. That Guild OM sounds really good and your timing is right on the money.

Welcome back Chuck. It has been a while since you have been here and I wondered what became of you 🤔.

That is some really nice playing. Very clear on the notes and well executed. I enjoyed listening.

Thank you Geoff, I got away from playing for a while – I do so many outdoor things as well, but I really missed it. I had a sprained thumb over the Winter, but the top half still works! Glad to be back.

That was sweet Chuck. Love the smooth and melodic vibe you got going. No real need to speed it up unless you really wanted to. I think the tempo was swell.

Thanks John, it is a nice tempo to play with kind of a swing rhythm I think. Brian’s regular up tempo version is awesome, but very fast. Appreciate your reply and your acoustic covers!

Spotlessly played at the “human tempo” , Chuck (I mean, the Brian’s regular uptempo version is supernatural 😂)!

I’m currently practicing this lesson with your same tempo, and I’m very far to be able to play it so well as you did, with your great timing and expressiveness, allowing the melody to breathe.

That Guild OM-320 doesn’t sound at all like an inexpensive instrument, it sounds great, but maybe it’s thanks to the player!

Thank you, Guido you are correct about the human tempo. I’d have to be a metronomic robot to duplicate Brian’s up-tempo, all credit goes to him for giving us a slower pace to learn. Good luck with the lesson, and as I had mentioned, I found this one easier than some slower ones due to the chord switching involved. Appreciate it!

Very well and clean played. The tone is good, too.
