Hi folks,
I chose B and E for my two chords and came up with a repetitive phrase using slight variations of the phrase on different parts of the fretboard. Mostly with triads and parts of triads. I pulled my Epi LP out of hibernation and had fun pretending to be a rocker. -

LOVED THAT!!!
Really great rock feel! Now we need “More tambourine!” 😛

What do you mean “pretending” ? Brilliant stuff. Find a decent B-side and you’ve got a hit on your hands. Well done.

Nice James! That opening gave me Tom Petty feelings. And I also heard a bit of Keef in there. Rock on mate!

I knew this was going to be good the moment that broken tambourine sound kicked in. That was special and deserves to graduate to full song status.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

That was rockin’ James! I heard Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way by Waylon Jennings!

Super cool! Everyone needs to do a rock-out like that from time to time. It’s good for the soul.

I loved it from the start! Great sound of your LP.
These harmonized 6ths at the beginning reminded me of CCR.
Very 60s strait forward rock. Everything you play is gold.More Blues!

Well, James, if you’re not going to sing for us, why not let your beautiful LP sing instead 😂. I don’t know about any pretence at being a rocker – I think you’re right in there. – Mark 👍🎶😎

Great stuff James , you certainly know how to rock out on the epi .
All the way through I was also getting the Tom Petty sound .
Love the phrasing and harmonies.
A fine foundation for some lyrics ( just a thought maybe)Martin

You definitely sound like a rocker, James. That tambourine fits in so well. It had me stomping my feet. That was just so much fun!

James,
I like when you let your hair down and turn it up to “11” . Great groove, licks and riffs. I hate saying it sounds like somebody else (so I’m gonna anyways) but it is very Rolling Stone(ish). I love it. Thanks for sharing.John
