        Hello AM
please find attached the link to my June 26 submission – personally I think it’s rather challenging to limit yourself to 2 chords.
In any case thank you for listening and your feedback in advance

        Best wishes
        Ruediger

The melody and accompaniment complement each other beautifully. A fine composition.

Well, I have to say that any struggle you had limited to two chords didn’t show in your performance at all, Ruediger – this was a really fine composition and a lovely balance between the rhythm and melody 👏👏 Nicely done – Mark 👍🎶😎

Thanks Mark – the challenge with limiting to 2 chords is that it does not feel as familiar as a “normal” 3 chord progression. However I am glad you liked it.

You’ve produced a lovely composition, Ruedigger. I understand the feeling that something is missing when playing over two chords, but you’ve obviously overcome the expectation that we have become used to: this piece sounds complete, as well as melodic and interesting.

Great bluesy acoustic lead improvisation and rhythm.

It is challenging to limit yourself to two chords but that was the challenge given to us. I think it has its place every now and then and your piece fitted the challenge perfectly.

Our videos are very similar, looks like you paid for Powerdirector. What do you think of it? I find it very time consuming to work out how to use it but it does a good job.

Hi Jonathan thanks for the encouraging feedback – I was recording that in 2 steps and then used iMOVIE to do this split screen video – I really struggled with that as this was the first time I was doing something like that
Is it easier with Powerdirector ?

Take two chords, lay them down in a rhythm track, and then play along with it and have fun. That’s what you seem to be doing here, Rüdiger. I can assure you that I’ve had fun, too.

It might seem challenging to limit yourself to just two chords, but I can think of lots of long 2-chord improv jams by the Allman Bros, Grateful Dead, and others that are truly inspirational.
