I recorded this and shared it years ago on my Squire Telecaster. I relearned it this morning and had to record and share. It’s so much fun yet takes some mental stamina. Rock on!

Thanks Deiter…. It’s too hot to go outside so I am indoors with the air conditioning cranked!

I would struggle at that tempo but you nailed it John. Well done.

Wow! That sounds really great John.

For some reason, I have not encountered this lesson but i always felt Brian’s rockabilly lessons were the hardest on account of the speed. Seems like this was no problem for you at all 😄

Yep its better to stay inside with AC.

My god that lesson would give an aspirin a headache!

Well done for getting that up to tempo John. It must have taken work.

Lovely tone from the neck pup on that beautiful LP.

Fantastic way to breath new life into an older lesson. Impressive tempo as well.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

In all honesty Helen, it’s something I noodle around with often, without the backing track. It took me a good hour or so, maybe longer to play it to tempo (with the backing track). I’m still thinking there is something missing. Maybe a hammer on or a pull off or some type of ornamentation. We’ll see. It’s a lot of fun to play. Thank you for the kind words.

That’s a fun romp on the guitar, John. Once you get it going it’s too fun to stop. Great picking!

Very fluently and fast playing! Love that Rockabilly groove and all these licks.

That picking hand looks *so* relaxed and consistent – amazing! The whole things sounded awesome! Loved it. What amp are you playing through?

Thanks for the kind words. I am playing through a Boss Katana with some slap back delay dialed in. I was looking for that 50’s kind of sound.
