Hi All,
I’m changed my setup for this one. I recently sold my Boss Katana Mark II 50. I was looking for something with less or no effects but extra volume for playing outside. So … I ended up with a Fender Tone Master Fr10. This is basically just a speaker but with a UAFX Dream ’65 Reverb Amp Pedal (which I already had) it becomes a pretty cool Fender Style Amp with plenty of outside punch!
Anyway, here is EP631 with the above rig.
Hope everyone is well.

Alright now, that’s some laid back groovy playing Gary. That Tone Master sounds surprisingly good.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Terrifc playing, Gary. Your new rig sounds terrific for this clean blues tone. The longer I play, the more I appreciate a good clean tone.
I’m already into the digital world with the Katana Artist but I’d like to take the next step. I see there’s a summer sale on the Fractal systems so I guess now’s as good a time as ever. I would probably like to pair that with an FRFR cabinet but the options are daunting. What made you decide on the Fender and why the 10 instead of 12. I love the clarity of the Fender systems but the Tonex cab seems to have some great options as well.John

Asi always. Beautifully played Garry. I dont know much about amps and effects but, i think, you would sound just as good on any setup.

Excellent and smooth playing, Garry. Every single note sits perfectly. 0:49 that was such a sweet slide with tremolo.
I think the clean tone goes very well with that slow Blues. I recently took that lesson in my repertoire, too.More Blues!

All sounded pretty cool to me Garry. I think the clean tone suits for this style of blues.

Fantastic playing Garry.
That is some sweet Fender tone. Personally, I believe there is nothing like a Fender all tube Reverb Amp. Any one of them. They are so clean and pristine sounding. And, the reverb is unmistakenly superior. Fender guitar amps were made for Fender guitars! Congrats on your new set up.John

That new rig is sounding super sweet Garry. Those UAFX amp pedals are so good. I’ve got the Dream65 and also the Ruby. They give you lots of tone options without being overwhelming and record so well. It clearly works well with the tone master too as demonstrated by your super smooth playing of this slow bluesy lesson. Another one I’ll need to put on the list.

Hugely enjoyable Garry.
That’s about as good a clean tone as you’re going to get anywhere so you’ve smashed it with the new gear. It sounds amazing.
10 all round for the playing. It had a bit of everything – slides, bends, fast runs and you held the groove all the way.
This may well be my favourite submission of yours to date.
Enjoy the new gear mate.
Liam.
