  There’s a word to describe my planning for this month’s challenge and that word is “Shambles”. It was down to a last minute scramble to get this done. I’ve been working on a Clapton style gospel blues, EP074 recently, so that’s been pressed into use with a middle section of my own, sandwiched between Brian’s two verses, which includes my borrowed licks, .
  
  There are two, the main one is a Dorian lick taken from EP505 (bars 24 -26), I thought it would be a interesting to reuse that in a Major context.
  
  The second is from EP636 (bars 19 and 20) and thanks to Denise for suggesting this one when was I struggling. It went in nicely.
  
  Both transposed to fit.
  
  There is a bit of an earth buzz going on that I didn’t have time to trace so apologies for that.
  
  I’ve a busy weekend ahead but hope to catch up on everyone else’s responses as and when.

  Excellent playing Andy, love this stuff. And your Tele is sounding superb. I’m struggling to get the finish line as well. I’ll have to get it done later today as I’m currently at work at the moment and could not get my lead part together in time for the Friday frenzy. Ah well, good things come to those that wait.
  
  Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

  It all sounded superb, Andy! Great implementation of „outside” licks, they gave this gospel-style tune a hint of jazz to my ears. I was impressed by your fast licks, excellent performance despite of time crunch!

  That certainly doesn’t sound like shambles, Andy. More like inspired blues playing with a strong gospel vibe. And the licks you’ve chosen fit perfectly. Top-notch work.
