Just over a week ago , I went through this “Left superficial temporary artery to middle cerebral artery bypass for Moyamoya” surgery to fix a condition i have had for at least 30 years. The less technical term for this surgery is “Crack open the skull and rewind a scalp vien to some other vien that goes into the skull 😅.
To make sure I still have my marbles , I did this Allegrias on my classical guitar. (The strings on my Flamenco guitar are really dull and in need of replacement). Fortunately for all of you I am only showing the right side of my head where the surgery was not done 😊
Crikey Geoff! That surgery sounds scary to me. I hope you’re doing okay and you have full recovery and of course fixing the problem long term! And … after listening to your playing … you’ve still got it!!! I love the piece, especially the rasgueado and percussive effects. Look after yourself and all the best! 😎🎸😎
Thanks Garry. It was really scary but it looks like I made it 😅.
This is probably my favorite Flamenco piece and I just had to have a go at it again to confirm everything is still working up there 💪
