Rick Beato interviewed Dominic Miller recently, he plays several Lennon McCartney songs on a classical guitar which I have heard a thousand times before but his arrangements make them sound so fresh. It’s a fascinating interview too. I’d never heard of him, even though I saw him playing with Sting in September, which he describes as his “day job”, which does not surprise me as he was really just a stand-in for Andy Summers. Now I want to listen to his solo albums.

I am not even half way through this video and I already feel so inspired, literally coming up with little bits on the guitar as I am watching it. I have seen this guy somewhere (remember his voice more than anything), and I LOVE that parlor sized nylon string guitar he’s playing soooooo well! And then the Beatles’ songs that “sound great even when played badly”, love it!Truly inspiring! 🙏
