Hi folks , my submission for this months challenge, I went with the two major chord country track from EP 507 , and used Dminor and Aminor pentatonic to play a country blues lead .
Look forward to listening to everyone’s ideas for this month.
Have a great weekend

Very nice, Martin. Clear, fitting sound and delicate playing with tasteful double stops mixed in. I enjoyed listening. Nice plectrum necklace, too. 😊👍🏽

Martin
Your tone is impeccable. What amp are you using? Your phrasing is smooth and silky. Almost sounds like a pedal steel guitar. I am sure that was the intent with those bends. Fantastic job Martin. This was really enjoyable.John

Hi John thanks for the comments, I’m using a Blackstar htr5 Mkii tube amp on the clean setting 1, with four boss pedals , reverb , delay , blues driver and od1 overdrive.

Love the way you kicked it off with that bend. A guy plays like that, he means business partner!
Hearing a little Luther Perkins and some Roy Nichols. Nice pickin Martin! -

Nice one, Martin. Your phrasing and tone were first class, and your choice of jamtrack was perfect for your composition. My only complaint: I wanted you to keep on playing.

Very nice composition and brilliantly played with a great tone! Using minor pentatonic notes over the major chords gives a strong blues vibe, loved it! Great rendition.

Playing the minor pent over the major country track gives the country a very bluesy touch! A lonely cowboy riding in the desert🤠🐎. I like these tasty bends👍.
I am hearing some JJ Cale vibe in there.
Well done, MartinMore Blues!

Another excellent contribution from you, Martin. The blues pentatonic fits perfectly on this banking track.
Thank you, Werner

You really know how to play Country, Martin! I envy your sound quality, it was pristine. I could have listened for longer, but that’s my only point of “critique”.

Beautifully played, Martin — your touch and sense of space was spot on. I especially loved that spacey almost Western vibe (think horse rider in the desert). Your phrasing felt effortless, and I also loved those tasty bends! Your tone is – as usual – at pro level.

Hey, Martin,
Nice blues composition, very tastily played. Laid back and in the groove all the way. Loved those 2 double stops coming in at just at the right time. Reminded me of Folsom City blues in some places–don’t know why.

That came together really well, good tone, good phrasing, clear intonation.
