My chords are G and F. I used the backing track from EP530. An old favorite, but I don’t keep that one in the rotation anymore; so not using the lead but still using the blending pentatonics concept.
I only started poking around this week, intentionally, to keep it unpolished and loose. Playing here is mostly improv.
Cheers!
Excellent! Great job on the phrasing, Alan. Lots of good ideas on the licks.

A lively improv Alan, you wove in a great recurring motif that worked really well over the major chords. Very enjoyable, thanks.
Richard
Tasty improv packed full of licks and ideas that come together nicely over the backing track. Well done Alan!

Definite Jerry Garcia vibes. I can imagine people in tie dye and dreadlocks dancing in a muddy field.
Nice phrasing and good use of those double stop stabs.
Love your use of chord tones, well done. Like others have said, your tune has a nice, laid back Grateful Dead feel. Great improv!
Nice job laying those licks in nice and tight, Alan. You’re developing really good improvisation skills.

Very nice playing, great clean sound.

Excellent groove Alan. I almost thought you were going to do something Reggae style. Great submission.

Oh yes like this Alan, very nice lead and the whole piece sounded very rhythmic! Nice!
