Loved this exercise. it was an opportunity to utilize hybrid picking, and some spicy slides and bends. my timing is a little off. I really have to work on that

Todd,
Not hearing the ‘bad timing’. I do like the effects🎸🎶. Sounds really good, smooth and pleasing. Keemp ’em coming bro!John

Lol, you guys say you hear no timing issues.
I hear them, being so familiar with the material. I guess we are always our worst critics -

Thanks Dieter… I think I used Starlit Cavern in GB. It sounded rich and full to my ears 😊

Thanks Chuck…. You should go for it. It was a lot of fun. You can use some nice hybrid picking, slides, and bends. The final lick where you start at the 12 fret and play harmonized 6ths all the way down the fretboard is a real keeper for the olde lick toolbox 🧰😊

Excellent playing in my opinion Todd, very enjoyable to listent to! About the timing, for me it was good: especially in blues or in jazz a very slight anticipation or delay in playing the notes, not just on the beat (or on the half beat), is part of the game and very often a peculiarity of some players. Enjoyed your rendition and the effects on your guitar.

Well played Todd. Played with attitude and loved the tone. I have just learnt this one recently and will post soon. I understand what you’re saying about the timing because there are some tricky parts but … loved your version for sure. All the best! 😎🎸😎
