Is this ‘Lava Studio’ billed as, ‘The World’s Most Advanced Amp’ the end of the traditional pedal business or not?
At the full price of $999 it seems quite a high price to pay but one thing’s for sure, it won’t be the last of this forward thinking Amp.

Wow, Richard, get on board or get left behind. $999 doesn’t seem exceptionally expensive.
I was a little suspicious of the sound quality but apparently the speakers are using quite advanced technology. I was also interested that you can import music and separate and mute tracks to substitute your own playing. All the tracks can be exported to use in your own DAW system.
I have been enjoying my digital Katana with all the drives and effects easily adjustable on my computer without the hassles of blown tubes and transformers. I’ve been quite happy with the tones I can achieve.
This looks like an amazing practice device and especially if space and volume considerations are limited.
I’m still considering the best digital system, such as a Fractal unit, but not sure I’d be happy playing through monitor speakers.
