Learn to play blues guitar.
Home › Forums › Guitar Techniques and General Discussions › A guitar built by Mr Martin himself
This guitar was built 20 years before the start of the American Civil War by CF Martin. To me, it sounds amazingly good. What do you think?
Sunjamr Steve
That guy is definitely making it sound really good. Nice Irish melody.
Your ears are correct Steve…The guitar does sound amazingly good, as well as the guitarist. Martin has been producing the best acoustic guitars for a LONG time. My ears have always been calibrated to “The Martin Tone”, and I’ve had many Gibson, Guild, Taylor, and Larrivee Acoustics and sold them all or traded them for Martins.
I have 2 Martins, a OOO-28EC (My soulmate), and an OM-42, and they are my lifetime guitars. I don’t even bother to play acoustics in guitar shops anymore. I’ve found what I want in my Martins.
Thanks for your post Steve…beautiful guitar and beautiful playing.

Yup, simply beautiful for what appears to be a parlor size guitar.
