        Hi folks,

Here’s my attempt at the last lesson; for me, one of the best 12-bar-blues lessons I ever had! Just like brian said, the rhytm can be deceivingly tricky indeed:)

        grtz,
        Michel

You articulated that very well, it sounds great! There are some things Brian did with the time that you didn’t do, but your version was a credible and enjoyable way to hear those parts played. (There are many things in these lessons, they’re just such great riffs, even played our own way, they come out so nice.)

Those “counter” riffs in the lesson after the Chuck Berry/Eddie Taylor riffs are cool, don’t recognize them from anywhere, guess they’re Brian’s.

Really liked the raw tone and a nice smooth and yet driving beat, oh, and them trills.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Well played, Michel! And you got a nice tone out of your guitar, too.

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
