Kept it slow and simple and hopefully musically interesting. Thanks for listening and your kind comments. Collings 290 plugged straight into a Fender Super Reverb Reissue.

Hi David, you found some very interesting sounds to go over this track. Nice chord tone targeting, and great mellow feel. You nailed the turnarounds.

I enjoyed this very much David. For some reason I felt like I was floating down a lazy river on a cool summer afternoon!

Love your melody, David. The chiming chords are a nice touch.

Outlined the chords well and the 7ths and chromatics added a nice flavor. Well done 👍

Beautiful David, very melodic single lines. I love the ‘less is more’ approach to playing and here your incorporating melodies, phrasing and spaces for the music to breathe! ✅ Very enjoyable. All the best! 😎🎸😎

David, “simple” is so difficult to sound great! And, you pulled it off sooooooo well! Nicely done. Great ideas and smooth playing. Love the gitfiddle BTW

You may have kept it simple, David, but you also kept it very sweet and emotional. For me, that’s exactly the right way to go. And your melody resonates with me, even though your piece is already over.

Such a lovely melody, David! I’m amazed how you stayed in control of every note and followed the chord changes without unnecessary haste. Really well done 👍

That was really soothing to listen to. Beautiful tone on the Collings, although I’ve never heard of that brand name before. But then, I live in New Zealand, and there are lots of guitars that never make it to our neck of the woods.

Very flowing and melodic David. Very laid-back and unrushed, just like the backing track. Brian always stresses to keep phrases simple and memorable, and you did both very well. The melody sounds like something Brian would come up with. Very well done.

Hi David , your simple approach and restraint works a treat and lets that sweet melody stand out , which this track cries out for .
Classy guitar , lush tone 👌, you don’t see many of them on this site .Martin

Brian’s country lessons must have inspired you 😊. I like that you focused on the melody. Love how you snoothly played the chords for the turnaround.
Well done, David.

Slow and simple seems to be the way to go with this track. You nailed it David, super melodic and a great full clean tone.

David,
I like those ‘blue’ notes that sounded a bit ‘outside’ of the box. Your arrangement was simple yet melodic and purposeful. Nicely done.John
