Looks great Denise. Yes, looks like a new guitar. I have two pick guards for my Tele. The original was an off white and I replaced it with black. I really like the tortoise shell. I’ve been eyeing off a guitar with tortoise shell pick guard myself, hoping to buy in the next few months 🙏🏻. All the best! 😎🎸😎

I like it very much. I think a love of music also includes a love of the instrument. That’s why I don’t like these super expensive artificially damaged guitars at all.

Looks great Denise! I got my first Telecaster a week ago (traded one of my strats for it..). Anyway, it is antique white with a white pick guard. I immediately bought a tortoise shell pick guard off of Amazon and plan to switch it out. Then today, I saw your post. I guess great minds think alike!!

I like it! One of the cool things about the Fender guitars is how much you can change its character by dressing it one way or the other.
