My camera woman insisted that I have to mention first – it’s doggys 13th birthday – woof woof.
So this is her birthday song.I followed Brian’s suggestion and chose ep 472.
For me, fingerpicking was the biggest difficulty.Thank you for watching.

Happy birthday Doggie – looking good for 13! Well played Werner, that’s a good choice of lesson. Your picking sounded good to me – I know that style’s not easy.

That’s a pretty good rendition Werner even though you said it was a challenge. It’s a good one to get your fingers round, maybe practice it a wee bit slower will help the fingers. I posted that sometime last year.

Greetings to the camera woman, Werner, and of course happy birthday to the main actor of your AM-videos. He again performed as expected 😊
The guitar guy did okay, too. 😉
Wie immer eine reife Leistung! 👍🏽Bluesige Grüße

Very good rendition, Werner, that finger picking lesson doesn’t look easy at all but you did a great job playing it very well! Happy birthday to your four-legged friend, he looks like a sweet lad!

Thirteen in dog years is like 75, isn’t it? So I hope there is a big celebration.
The dog had the courtesy to hang around even after apparently losing interest and demonstrating a decided lack of appreciation for good guitar playing.
If finger picking was a struggle for you, it wasn’t obvious. The thing hung together nicely and made a fitting background track for your dog, who is clearly the star of the show. -

I really enjoyed it, Werner! In my mind’s eye I was seeing you sitting on the front porch of an old shack in Mississippi, playing and tapping your foot in time, chickens in the front yard, an old dog lying next to you.

Happy birthday Doggy! Nice submission Werner!

Hi Werner:
Happy Birthday to Doggie – she’s a teenager! And great job with ep472. You and your Martin capture the major pentatonic vibe with absolutely great tone. I tried that same ep this time and it presents some challenges that you handled well. And congrats to you and your “production team”. You guys create very fun posts. Prost, Tom -

Hi Werner, I enjoyed this one a lot. You’ve got the fingerpicking groove going pretty well, even with the challenge of getting it under your fingers. A very melodic rendition.
