Hi everyone!
I didn’t have a lot of time to prepare the challenge this month for various reasons. I started to practice the EP543, but still far to be able to play it entirely, so I decided to play the intro of Boom Boom (always wanted to play this song, since I watched the Blues Brothers movie back in 1980) and then I played the first half of the EP543, but I made a big mess and even forgot to play the B7 chord 🤣 (and the intro brought me to play the lesson too fast for my skills)!
Anyway, in spirit of participation and for fun, here my rendition:

Love the opening, Guido. Great sound on vocals and guitar. Cool idea putting these together. I’d keep working on it. It would make a great standalone piece.

Sounds awesome, Guido. Man, you tore it up!! Singing and playing. Would have kept those early growls going; they sounded fantastic. Guitar tone excellent!

Fantastic intro of that classic blues number Guido. Love how you tied it into EP543. Some great blues licks and vocals.

Hey Guido, Loved this! Great idea to combine a classic (Boom Boom) with EP543. A real growling sound you’ve dialled in and you’ve got the right voice for a song like ‘Boom Boom’. Yes, EP543 is not easy and believe me I practiced this one for hours and hours. I even took my travel guitar on holiday so I could practice. There is lots of great licks to take away from this so definitely a valuable lesson to play. All the best! 😎🎸😎
PS Cool hat too! -

Hey, hey, hey, hey! I thought this was great. The tone out of your guitar was the bomb, and your voice was powerful and the pace of the piece was spot on. Yes, there were some imperfections, but the overall impact was strong and inspiring.

Great idea to put this together this way, Guido. And what a great sound and what a performance! You can go on the road with this one, but you can keep the hat on. That was great fun to watch and listen to!

Cool little medley there Guido. Nice vocals too!
Interesting enough, watching Duck Dunn in the blues brothers inspired me to pick up the bass! 😎

Nice combination merging the two tunes as one , it just goes to show “the blues is the blues “and it all fits , that classic intro sets things up nicely and your vocals sound authentic to this style .

Wow! First the guitar tone then your vocals. Exceptional. You know this is the mother of all call and response tunes. Glad you did this. Your hollow body and voice really compliment the arrangement. Thanks for sharing. Very inspiring.
