Excellent playing Tao. I like your bluesy laid back approach to this.
PS: Have you thought about recording with a mic 🎤? You sound great but a mic would really improve the quality of your sound 😉

Thank you Geoff! You mean connecting a mic to iphone or do you mean iOS mic + interface + PC then editing? The second one takes a lot of time I guess. Maybe I should learn it anyway.

I meant the second because I have never tried mic to phone. If you use a mic you will like your sound.

Nice picking, Tao. Now you’ve got to learn 214. Put them together and you’ll have a killer blues piece. Check out an interface, DAW, and mic. You’ll love the sound quality and it’s not that complicated or expensive.

Some quality playing there, Tao – really enjoyed that 👍🎶😎
As for recording using a Mic and DAW, it’s what the majority of us use. Yes, it does take a bit of time (especially during the initial learning phase), but the sound quality tends to be a lot better than just using a Mobile’s mic. In the end though, it’s playing that matters and for you to decide what other toys you want to invest in! It is great fun, however, even more so when you add video editing to the mix, it allows your creativity to vastly expand. Best wishes.

Nice Muddy Waters type bluesy playing Tao. I think it sounds fine the way you’re recording it with your phone. Regardless, like others have said, I would still encourage you to get a mic, interface, and DAW. It will improve your sound and you will be able to add effects like reverb, delay, compression, distortion, etc. Most of us use a computer but I believe you can do just fine with a phone or iPad. In the meantime I suggest you try turning your phone landscape so we can see more of both hands.
