        Hello friends,

Here’s my take on this very cool lesson.

Not sure about you but I always find at least one lick or phrase in Brian’s compositions that swings away from the conventional and acts like a curve ball.

If you’re familiar with the piece you’ll know which one it is. If not you’ll probably be able to guess.

Still, great fun and a fantastic practice piece to add to your routine.

Please enjoy and thanks for watching.

        Liam.

I did not know the lesson, Liam, and must admit I could not identify the one lick. But there are a lot of great licks in this lesson, all played smoothly and flawlessly. Well done! 👍🏽
          Thanks for sharing.

Sounded really cool Liam. Nicely performed.

Nicely done, Liam. It’s got “soulful” in the title, I’m surprised I never played this one. I’m guessing the curveball lick is when Brian takes it completely bluesy.
Hey, what happened to all that nice vibrato I saw in some of your recent posts?

Very nicely played, Liam! Didn’t know this lesson, so thanks for sharing! Great tone from your Strat. I can’t identify the precise “curve ball” moment, to my ears there are 2 or 3 of them in this Brian’s arrangement. Anyway very good composition, brilliantly performed by you!

Very nice performance, Liam – that’s a lesson I don’t think I’ve heard before. Lots of slides and looks a fun one to play, albeit with a few challenging fast licks 👍🎶😎

Really well played Liam. Soul with a touch of country flavour. You’re showing your versatility eg Oasis to Soulful Country Blues. This one is new to me also. I like it a lot and I’m thinking maybe the challenging part is around the 0.48 mark, a tricky run maybe? Anyway, very enjoyable. Hope all is well. All the best! 😎🎸😎

i enjoyed listening to this one Liam and it is not a lesson I have attempted. As for any particularly challenging part, it all looks pretty challenging to me. Very nicely played.

Nice, Liam! That one flew under my radar too. I’m guessing you’re talking about where it goes down to the A chord there right after the little bluesy lick in B?

                            Hey Liam,
Always a pleasure. Technically sound. Nice blend of Strat, Liam and blues.
