I noted that there is a natural tendency for me to have the pick in an upward angle.
It feels like I have better control this way while playing. Also, the sound appears better.
I started with normal downward angle but somewhere it changed automatically. I think both
methods will come of use depending on situations.The backing track, I downloaded from the internet and modified slightly in Guitar Pro 8.
Recently, bought an Akai Mini Play MK3 MIDI keyboard and MPC2 software and a Mackie Producer Audio interface.Want to make my own backing tracks.
Thanks to Brian and all others in Active Melody. Its from the knowledge I have gained from AM that I am able to play.

Awesome Unni! 🙂 Excellent use of the tremelow, whammy bar. Love the Ventures and somehow don’t listen to them as much as I used to. You sound great and enjoyed it very much.

Yeah Unni! I’m totally stoked! The Ventures were huge when I started playing and this was one of the first songs I learned. You’re playing and tone are spot on!

That’s pretty darn good Unni. I don’t listen to Pop music much but even I have heard this one before and you certainly dialed in the sound very accurately. Don’t know what you mean about doing the backing tracks yourself but if you did the backing yourself I am really impressed.

The backing track for this song, I downloaded from internet and modified the notes in Guitar Pro 8.
I am learning to make the backing tracks using Guitar PRO 8 and MPC 2 Software. Also I use Reaper.
Since all this is quite new to me, it takes lot of time to learn and get it properly going. I have learned
music theory myself to a reasonable extent over the last one year by going through various theory material
from the net. Now I can understand Brian’s lessons and other composing videos better. But since no experience
is there, things happen very slowly. Since I do not have any targets, the process of learning music and trying to
create something my own is enjoyable.unni
