This is the Expressions version of Silver Spring. Recorded this in our music room, we like to call Hoot & Hollar Studio. No Debbie this time. This is Brenda our other singer who mainly played all of our jobs on the West side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, while Debbie played most of the jobs on the Eastern shore. This was recorded just prior to Covid and our decision to retire from performing. These days we just play for ourselves and have no equipment to move 🙂

Very pro, well crafted. Guitar and vocals are right on.
          Thanks

Very professional, Clarke. What guitar were you using? Thought I got a hint of a Bigsby in there.

                John,

That’s the one I used most of the time when playing out. 2001 PRS SE Santana. I used the middle position, both pickups with a bit of Delay.

You’ve posted a lot of very memorable songs since I’ve joined AM Clarke but hats off to you all because for me this is icing on the cake. Vocals and band, overall crystal clear production absolutely fantastic. The song is new to me but I love it! And your guitar solo, so expressive with beautiful tone. Will definitely listen to this again. Keep on pickin’ and all the best! 🥸🎸🥸

Not familiar with the song Clarke but it’s very clear that you guys smashed this.

It really was pro level all round.

                  Loved it. Well done.

                  Liam.

Wow, Clarke! This is pro-level all the way. Vocals, guitars, bass and percussion are all superb and spot-on. Excellent mix. Quite marketable, actually. Well done, sir.

                          Another beautie Clarke.
                          Awesome mix.
Curious to hear Debbie and Brenda harmonizing togheter.

                              Andre,

That would have been interesting (harmonizing) – Debbie and Brenda never met each other. Both of them practiced here at the house at different times. Only one would show up for the gig depending on the location. Debbie still shows up to sing with us here at home and Brenda has joined another band. Really enjoy just playing for ourselves these days. Thanks for the great review.

You can correct me on this Clarke but am I wrong thinking that Stevie Nicks performed a version of this song ? I don’t know why but it rings a bell with me that way.

That aside, this is a fabulous performance. Love Brenda’s voice and your guitar accompaniment is nothing short of excellent. You guys really are pros, thank you for this one.

Thanks my AM friends so much for taking time to listen and the nice feedback. That is a Stevie Nicks song, I neglected to mention that. Just love to listen to all of the very talented musicians on this site.
