I’ve been absent for a while on AM due to a devastating cancer diagnosis. I’ve been through a 2 month blur of Dr. appointments and tests and procedures. I’ve finally got all of that out of the way and start Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy tomorrow. I finally had a short break to do a little “Music Therapy”.
I love this style of Blues, and I was going for a slightly 1950’s vibe. I have more ideas for solos that I’ll add when I feel up to it. (A work in progress).Thank You to God, Stephanie, Mom, and The Cleveland Clinic Tausig Cancer Center.
Special thanks to my special Friend, Helen L. for all of your sweet correspondence and always “checking-in” on me. Me and Stephanie appreciate all of your kindness.

Thank You John, Music Therapy was definitely a respite from the “Dark Side Of Life”. I appreciate your kind PM, and I’ll try better to keep in touch. Stephanie really wants to hear me play acoustic all day like I used to. I’m feeling very acoustic at the moment and hopefully I can get back into that soon.

Thank You so much Helen. Music does do wonders for your soul. I’ve been wanting to play a little, but I was walking Laci and her leash broke a blood vessel in my left pinkie finger, so I have to wait for that to heal up.
I love that Old Blues Vibe too.

We’ve recently managed to change our mindset from “dying from cancer” to “living with cancer” – it wasn’t easy, but has made a huge difference to our outlook.

We’re blessed to live in a time when what were once called “Terminable Diseases” are now treated as “Treatable Chronic Diseases”.
