Hi Brian, another Great lesson, but it is strange that the Rhythm and Lead are at two different tempos.

It’s an error. The rhythm tempo should be = 120

Hi Brian. Thanks for that lesson. I love those lessons, in which you can learn both the lead and the rhythm part! This goes directly to the (unfortunately still very long) list of must-learn lessons. Great! 👍🏽👍🏽😊👋🏽

    Thank you Brian!

Guthrie plays the most melodic stuff. But I ha to buy one of those Vidami video controller pedals just to slow him down enough to figure out what he was actually doing.

Just finished the lead lesson. It was great and thank you for putting in the tab music above your fretboard. It sure is helpful. Now on to learn the Fingerstyle Rhythm.

    Thanks Brian

I just finished the rhythm lesson. That was great Brian, it really helped me how to better apply the rhythm to the lead.

      Thanks again

Hi Brian. Any chance of having a beginner video or shorts or short course on harmonic you played on the 12th fret, sounds pretty sweet.

I just wish I could keep up, but this is a 75 year old Scottish highlander trying to improve very poor guitar skills! Love your lessons best guitar teacher I have seen’ so definitely something wrong my end. Small person , small hands so some of your techniques seem to be beyond me! keep up the great work, many will be enriched, best to you and your family.

Brian, I like the percussive fingerstyle rhythm portion on this one. I’ve been looking for lessons that blend rhythm with lead. Thanks!

Brian – A whole lot of info in this lesson that needs digesting bit by bit. It seems to me , the most frequent key that comes up in a ” picking-session ” is G, so one could take a solo/break using the one position and do OK. As time goes on – add the next and so on. A real kickstart lesson to impro., that I wish I,d had years ago. Thank you once again. Tony

H Brian. EP484 Rhythm Tablature PDF has the tempo = 90. Should be = 120.

Brian, what a great lesson, as always. That tele is such a sweet sounding instrument. I’ve seen it in a number of your videos and am sort of coveting it, but cannot make out the headstock. What is it?

    Thanks! BrianU

I was thinking i need to move forward in two areas to expand my skills, start learning fingerpicking style and using my loop pedal to play rhythm and lead.

    I found this. Perfect.

Hard but perfect, expanding my skills
