Had a lot of fun with this one! Used Brian’s solo as a “head” and wrote 2 verses of my own, 1st in neighborhoods 1&2, 2nd in neighborhood 3. Did lots of major/minor pentatonic mixing. (Super cool technique, been one of my big breakthroughs lately.)
Enjoy! 🙂

Great stuff Alan. Excellent idea to confine each cycle to a particular area of the fretboard and work your way up. Really enjoyed this. Keep on pickin’ and all the best! 🥸🎸🥸

Very nice indeed, Alan. Sounds like you are getting a good grip on the maj/min pent mixing.

Very nice work, I can imagine you put quite a bit into this so you should feel proud of this. Your tone was really great. This looks like one of those theory lessons of Brian’s that are hard work but very rewarding as a way to learn some gems.

Very nice Alan. That’s why we keep playing is to have those breakthroughs. Sounded great. This is one of my favorite lessons as it shows the power of just focusing on small areas of the fretboard and how much music there is in one specific area and then if you get comfortable with 2 or 3 areas your on your way to really making some music.
Thanks for sharing,

You killed it, Alan. Free wheelin’ and bluesy all the way. Great improvising! And your licks are really tight, man.

Twins!
Just goes to show there are infinite possibilities when it comes to the fretboard.
You pulled licks I would never have thought of!
Well played sir.
