For this challenge I chose the ML064 – Shorts 14 – Call & Response, Jump Blues.
I recently started to play again my classical guitar, practicing some easy classical pieces and some old Latin American songs, and so I eventually decided to play the piece on it with a pick.

Great choice of lesson here Guido. No wonder they call these ‘Jump Blues’, this moves really quick and great for coordination between right and left hands/fingers. Well played! Also, love the idea using a pick on nylon strings, gives it a whole different sound. Thanks for sharing and all the best! 🙂

I love your nylon jump blues, Guido. The decision to play this on the classical guitar gives your blues a special flavour. I would called it: „Jump in and pick some classic blues“

Cool, I think I’ve never heard the blues played on a concert guitar. I really liked it and I’m wondering why not? Now I know, nothing speaks against it. Perfect.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

That was a lot of fun Guido! That upbeat style sounds great on any guitar, and the tone of your acoustic was perfect. Nice picking!

You infused great energy and sound in that piece Guido. Very well played. It makes the listener want to get up and … jump. You style was so nice it sounded like more than one guitar!

Well done Guido,
very good Microlesson. I picked up this lesson as well. But your performance is much more precise and accurate. Not to mention your speed.
Thank you ver much

Very cool, Guido! I don’t think I’ve ever heard a classical guitar played with a pick, but it sounds quite different (in a good way) from bare fingers.

Wow you hit that running from the off , very precise picking there , I guess it’s called jump blues for a reason your right on the money with hand coordination, like the attack from pick to nylon strings really suits this style .

Sounds great on the nylon strings, and you mastered it with the pick at a fast speed. Not an easy thing thing to do without tripping on a string. Worth a gold star.

A jump blues with a pick on a classical guitar is as unique and original as it gets! 😉 Fantastic playing, Guido!
