My wife was patient 1 in Colombia (South America) bringing COVID19 to Colombia and spending 29 days at the UCI. Needless to say, life was scared. Life was unknown. I wrote a song for her… I hope you guys like it… its out now!

Hi Luis,
I woke up this morning thinking that it would be nice to explore some country on AM, and then I saw your post. That is a beautiful song! So well written and played.
So sorry to hear that your wife had to spend so long in hospital. How is she doing now? Hope you are both well.
Lovely song: I am going to listen to it quite a few times today!
Best wishes,
Rich F

Hi Rich
Thank you, my lord. You are way too kind. Maria, my wife, is doing wonderful and it seems all is going great. At the time, she was patient 1 down here in Colombia, too many unknowns and a scary time all around.
How’s your playing going? I just got myself a new looper and I am having tons of fun with it.
Let’s keep in touch, Rich!
Gracias, amigo
Luis 🙂 🙂

When a song sings from the heart, it has a home in the heart.
Glad to here your wife is doing fine. The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Thank you, sire. I am glad you liked LONELY. I’ve always admired simple chord progression songs. I am an 80’s music guy, long haired type of bands, and as such the melodies on those songs amaze me and inspire me. 3 chords and 1 change is all it takes, I am 100% with you. Thank you, my lord. 🙂 🙂

Hi Luis,
Hope your wife continues to recover, and hope you are both doing well.
Just listened to your wonderful song again… I was fascinated to note that you like 1980s music, and long-haired bamds… your song put me in mind of Bon Jovi, who had a great way of combining simple chord progressions, often with a country sound, with strong vocals… just like your great song!
Glad to see that you have a looper: I use mine a lot… great fun! It would be great to play something together! 😁🎸

Hi Rich –
Your message makes me very happy. Writing the song and recording it was a wonderful feeling. Maria, my wife, is back at full speed now. At the time it was scary as it was very early in the virus stage. Music got me through those 27 days at the ICU.
Looper is awesome. I love it. I actually just bought a voice looper to do some Ed Sheeran things on the side, should be getting it on the mail anytime this week.
I try to practice every day but need a better practice routine. I am focusing on triads this week and the best way to learn them. Any thoughts?
Take care, stay in touch.
Luis
