Hi AMers
Repost of this nice fingerstyle Blues – this time together with my son on the piano for accompaniment.
He added a swing beat from his e-piano. For the recording, both instruments were plugged directly via interface into DAW.
Hopefully I can post some more music with my son on the piano.Denise
More Blues!

I really wanted more of that, Denise! It was wonderful, and really tight playing by both of you. Hope to hear a lot more of you playing together – loved it! 👌🎶
Best wishes to you both 😎

Wow that was awesome and fun to watch Denise. We already know you can play but now we know it runs in the family. Your son sounds like he has the chops for the keys too. Nicely done by both. You don’t happen to have a drummer and bass player too, do you? 😊

Very cool indeed! I’ve been an AM member for a long time, and I’ve never seen anyone post a guitar & piano duet, so you guys have made history. And you played it perfectly, although like Clarke, I wished it were a bit longer. Maybe play it twice through, or let the piano have a turn, then you jump back in. Or maybe you play just the chords one time and let the piano play a solo line.

Sounds great, Denise. We, too, spent hours and hours of listening to the kids practice. Steve has some fine ideas, I’d like to hear more, also.

Yes, wonderful Denise. I guess these could be early days for your duo but a second time round would have been good and perhaps a short piano solo for a few bars. You have some real potential here …..

Wonderful “house music” in duo – sounds like more. (My son is unfortunately too lazy to do something like this).

Oh my gosh, I want to see MORE of that!!! Too short! Denise and Mikka, what a talented family! I loved hearing the piano on this song, you brought it up to another level, what a great collaborations! I’m so glad you finally got to play with your son and I hope this will happen more often from now on! 😁😉Everything sounded delightful and it looks like you figured out the two input recording on the spot, Denise 🙂 👏👏👏👏

Awesome Denise. Sounded so good with piano and guitar, fantastic combination. And … so lucky to have another musician in the family. Yes, let this be the first of many performances. All the best!

Well blow me down! I didn’t have to wait too long then! I only listed to the first part 5 mins ago haha. That was fabulous, piano and guitar always a winning combination. Bravo to both of you and that had to be fun to do :-). You will have to do more of these. Like Steve, I think you could make this an extended peice.

Hi Denise,
I agree with everyone else: how about a piano break followed by a guitar break and then back to that theme?
You guys gave us a very fine starter and we’re obviously all very hungry for the main dish! 😉
Best regards,

Awesome duet. Agree with others for an extension of what is already a polished and creative performance.

Sounds great. I like the constant bass line with the thumb. Not easy to do. And as others said, I too was expecting more … 🙂
