The jazz world has lost one it greats. Pat Martino was a virtuoso mentor and huge influence on millions of players
Thanks for sharing the info and those clips of Pat’s playing. I was not familiar with him but can appreciate what a great musician he was. My scope in jazz is limited to guys like Robben Ford or Larry Carlton and those who crossover from a blues style.

Lot of great players in the jazz world that we never consider as we should. One such player was the great Herb Ellis – his jazz guitar sound had a lot of blues with a heavy touch of country music at times
