  I was recently listening to JJ Cale’s classic “Magnolia” as recorded by John Mayer and Eric Clapton and wondered if you could do a lesson on how to play it. It’s such a beautiful song with a lot of soul.

  Hey John, Brian doesn’t do cover lessons (much), because of copyright issues. That’s why all his EP and LEG series lessons are original compositions. But just do a search on Youtube for “magnolia jj cale guitar lesson” and you will find plenty of lessons. But the truth is, it’s so simple to play that if you just listen to it a few times, you should be able to play it on your own. However, it would sound pretty boring without you singing.
