hi all, as usual from what iv’e seen already some really amazing takes on the feb challenge, although not had time to comment on many just yet as it has been a bit of a hectic week personally, however wearing my sunday best lol, i managed to cobble this together although not exactly sticking to 6 notes i played this in the key of “F” as i felt it allowed me explore more of the fret board using minor and major pentatoncs mostly and a pace i felt quite comfortable with, thanks for listening.

This was really good Graeme. You accomplished the goal of phrasing with 5 stars.
Some nice licks and lines plus the outfit makes for a great blues jam.

You are the epitome of “cool.” Your combination of licks and reverb make this bad a** and very retro. Love your expression. You say a lot with only a few notes.

Nice graeme – good choice doing this in the key of F – that’s always one of my favorites to play in. You sounded great.

You definitely had the coolest persona. Some great blues and tone. Love your Les Paul.

Really cool sound and tons of variety in the phrasing. Enjoyed that a lot. Good job.

Nice phrasing with interesting elements. As noted here; F is cool!

Your key choice really gave a different take on the lesson and made it quite gritty combined that with some minor licks your getting a window into your individual style and how you phrase the licks.

It’s been an incredible month of submissions, the choices we make reflecting the individual players, such diversity I think really pushes the group as a whole.

                                Fine contribution top stuff

Wow, Graeme, this is gotta be one of your best, not just Sunday best 😉 It sounded like a real solid blues playing, your phrases were well timed and not rushed, very interesting to listen to. There must be something about that key of F, I gotta look into it…

Wow, I really liked this one Graeme. You actually look (dressed) and sound like a lot of blues guys around here in Chicago. Your play has that ATTITUDE. Very cool. The sounds reminds me of The Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton. Very fine submission.

Graeme, that was really great and fun to listen to. I really liked the way you worked your way around the neck through the different positions. The duds definitely added to the vibe too and I couldn’t help noticing a long-neck of some brand in the picture, so the setting was complete 🙂 Nice job!

Your showcase made me think of Green Onions by Booker T in some way; because of the sound, the key and your licks! Very well done!

I think I’ve never played in Fkey??? good idea for practising the fretboard.

some very nice licks in here. I think your idea of tempo and respecting some “silences” fits perfect here.
