Much depends on your budget.

If you are on a tight budget, look at the ones made by Zoom and Digitech.
Spend a little more and Line 6 has a full line of multi-effect and the newer Line 6 Helix are getting rave reviews.
Boss makes a full line of mulit-effects, prices start @ $200 – Boss has been making effects for many years and have a great reputation for quality of build and sound

I think most will tell you that the Kemper Profilier would be the “ultimate” multi unit, prices begin around $1500; many of Brian’s lessons are recorded using the Kemper

What I would think would be a better way to accomplish a good blues tone is to look into a modeling amp. Amp and effects are contained in one unit and you will spend about the same amount of money as you would for a good multi-effects unit

The Roland Blues Cube is a solid state amp that is voiced to emulate the early Fender Tweed amps and is specifically good for blues and blues rock.
Fender Mustang, Peavey Vypyr, Vox Valvetronix, Boss Katana and the Marshall Code amps give you emulations of many amps and effects allowing you to dial in your tone
Blackstar Silverline series emulates 6 different output tubes and the 6 channel pre-amp allows it to be programmed for a wide variety great tones. Has 12 effects as well

Buy used or second hand and save yourself some money.

It’s a difficult thing to recommend There’s a few ways of doing this I decided to put myself in your position gave myself a small budget browse round and see what stood out as worth shortlisting and stood out as worth investigating.

1St off I discounted the heavyweights in the market as I wanted 5/6 key effects the boss stuff and it’s ilk are wonderful things but it’s banks of digital everything with banks and menus galore are not my thing.

There are a few different things out there the darkside by keeley springs to mind but that’s Gilmour focused the other thing that intrigued me was T-Rex Soul Mate its all analogue has just what you need and allows for routing into a send / return for time based effects it’s also being heavily discounted 270 in the UK as at full price you just go narr I’ll audition a Boss

I have tried a couple multi-effects pedals (Digitech RP360 and Vox Stomplab) but found it was way too much fiddling and have since migrated to dedicated pedals. If you have a good amp, then it doesn’t take much to get a good blues sound. Usually I use the over-drive and reverb in my amp, sometimes a Donner delay pedal, and a JamMan Solo XT for looper or backing track (I download the lesson backing track into it and this allows me to restart it with my foot and can also easily slow it down). I use a Mini BeatBuddy for drum beat if I’m not using backing track.

What amp are you using? I read in your first post that Clapton and BB King are 2 of your most favorite players. There is a possibility that a simple Overdrive pedal like a Tube Screamer or a Boss Blues Driver would be all that you would need. These pedals can bring out the best of a decent amp but some players try using a really good pedal with a smaller amp and they end up disappointed.
