I was working on this for the challenge but ended up in the hospital for a bit last month. Doing better now and finally got it done. So I thought I would post it now. After all, I have the hat for it!

Hey Richard, good to hear from ya. Time to take off the “sticker”. But maybe if I was you, well, I’ll leave on as it ages with your great playing.
Sorry to hear you were in the hospital. Glad to see you pick’n away and back.by the way, that sure is a nice Tele.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Oh, yeah, that’s the spirit, Richard! Love the tele twang, love the cowboy hat, and the nice little studio you got there. Glad you’re better now – as for the challenge entry, better late than never! 😉

Sounding awesome, Richard. That’s some mighty fine playing. Tele sounding super and you’ve got that pedal sound down pat. You’ve inspired me again. Now I’ve added this to my list. Hat looks super and would be great for mowing grass in as well.

Sounds great Richard! If you’re feeling at least half as good as you sound, you’re in good shape!

Thanks to all for listening and commenting. I’m not much of a country player and have been absent from the monthly challenges for awhile. I love string bending so I thought this would be very challenging, and it was.
After my little mortality wake up call, I decided to pull the trigger on the Tele. Great guitar.
The hat was just something I had for lawn and garden work.
Blues rock is more my thing than country, but AM is broadening my horizons a bit.
Hopefully I can get something together for the challenge this month. -

Thanks Clarke. I think you were one of the few to post this difficult lesson. Nice job on your version.

Well done Richard and that you are here again. Great country sound. Maybe not quite right, but your hat reminds me of my current location; Gran Canaria..LOL. Your TC makes a great sound.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
