Notice how smooth his vibrato is.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I like that “classic” Blues best.

Nice selection Pete, that was cool! I’m glad you said pay attention to the vibrato. On “I’m a Bluesman” he’s milking the vibrato on an A note while he’s on the G chord (around 2:45). Then when it goes to C, he moves down to the “regular” C chord notes (and he moves so fast I can’t tell what he’s doing). Toward the end of the song (around 3:50) he milks a G note the same way, but on top of what must be the turnaround and into the next verse. The first one, A over G, woke me up, emphasizing the 9 like that (that’s what he was going right?).

Another strange thing about A in “I’m a Bluesman.” He introed it in A then went to G to play the song. Wonder if that was planned or he just changed his mind.
