The toil tap pickup thing was standard on the 2014 Les Paul Studio. Fender is a bit behind on that.
It’s Christmas time, OK, show the pics to the wife and hope she’ll buy you one.
Ultra, in this case means just something new for Fender just in time for Christmas sales. The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Darrell Braun answers this question quite succinctly.

Thanks for posting this video. I think Darrell is speaking what the majority of players think about Fender’s offerings. Anyone who knows guitars realize that Schecter makes a quality guitar and if I wanted a Tele, $600 is much easier to come up with than $2,000. Fender, as well as Gibson, is “banking” on people wanting that Fender logo on the headstock and not being satisfied with anything less.
Pretty easy to see why Fender is in the financial predicament that they are
