Does anyone have any recommendations for guitar stools/seats with back and foot rests

I’m most comfortable just sitting in an arm-less chair and a low classical-guitar-type foot rest. But to record I usually use a taller stool with a good foot rest built into it – I get a better video view (focus on the guitar and not me) but they’re expensive and I never feel totally comfortable.

I tried sitting on a drum stool (yes, they can be expensive) and still do sometimes, but most of the time I just sit in an office chair. I went down to my local office furniture store and sat in about 30 of them until I found one that fit just right. Kind of like Goldilocks and the Three Bears: “And this chair was juuusst right”. I do have a classical guitar foot stool, which I use when I am occasionally holding my guitar classical style.

I know what you mean about being not totally comfortable with a taller stool I’ve already got one luckily it’s got a built in guitar stand otherwise I’d never use it
What I was looking for is something to draw me away from slouching on the sofa , I’ve recently given the office chair away because I really needed something with a foot stand to raise my leg a bit I might have the same trouble with a drum stool, some do look comfortable specially with the bike seat very tempting

I have a plain four legged oak stool that I got online for like $19. No finish, no cushioning, round seat that is 18” from the floor. In another room, I have a cajon that I also use as my guitar seat. It’s a little taller, but offers the same (zero) in the way of comfort. They both suit me just fine.

Thanks for your responses chaps I might pop down to my local music store in the next couple of weeks and try a drum stool with a back rest I don’t mind paying a bit more for comfort my backs had its problems and I don’t want to aggravate it that’s one of the reasons I want to get a decent chair

There are a bunch of these on amazon you may like. I have one without the foot rest.
