Just wondering if there is a default setting I can use to mute the volume of the AM audio tracks so that when I click on the track I do not get blasted by 1 or 2 seconds of the audio at full volume before I can mute the track.
Right now I just mute the volume on my computer before each audio track download or set of downloads, but a default setting would be much more useful.
An alternative would be to be able to set the volume level wherever one wanted it.
Anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks.

Hi drutgat,
From what I understand, you are talking about controlling the volume level of the track when you are downloading it…? If so, the volume control on your computer is a good idea. However, you can also download the tracks without playing them at all when you RIGHT CLICK on the [DOWNLOAD MP3] button and select Save File As.
Hope this helps.🎸JoLa

The challenge for myself is learning the timing..(timing and feel purposes) I usually start trying to flow along and through enough times repeatedly with Brian over the soundslice..i’ll cut the volume down only when I pretty much get close enough or memorize the lesson using soundslice featured here as a premium member ,, otherwise there are other option including what Jola mentioned. My tip to anyone reading this is to put more emphasis into timing/metronome..the count is always present before each lesson here on Active Melody.. that’s the best tip I can think up for myself and many here.

Hi JoLa and John.
Many thanks for your replies.John, I was talking more about the mechanics of downloading the file without having to adjust the volume on my computer, rather than how to use the file for learning, but thanks very much for taking the time and trouble to make the suggestion you made.
JoLa, unforutnately, right-clicking on the ‘Download MP3’ (or anywhere else in the first window, where one sees all of the audio and tab files listed) does not work for me – I get options to ‘Save Link As’.
I do get the option to ‘Save Audio As’ if I click on the ‘Download MP3’, and then right-click on the file itself, but this does not make sense for two reasons: first, by having to go to this second window, I have already been subjected to 2 or 3 seconds of audio, which I then have to mute (which is what I am trying to avoid); second, I can simply click download, rather than right-clicking and then going to an option and clicking again.
